Based in Langley, BC, the Langley Hornets Hockey Academy is dedicated to the growth and development of aspiring hockey players, helping them reach their highest potential both on and off the ice. Competing in the Pacific Hockey League (PHL), we provide an elite environment focused on skill development, team-building, and personal growth.
As the proud affiliate of the Westshore Wolves (VIJHL) and Jamestown University Hockey (ACHA), we are part of a larger hockey community that supports players at all levels. Our team takes pride in being actively involved in the local community, fostering connections that go beyond the rink.
United Tier 1 Hockey League
The United Tier 1 Hockey League was established in 2018 with a clear vision: to create a competitive platform built around showcase-style events where talented players could compete at a high level while also having meaningful opportunities to play for a championship.
From the beginning, the league aimed to balance two important goals—providing players with increased exposure to scouts, coaches, and development programs while maintaining strong competitive integrity and parity across participating teams.
By bringing together high-caliber teams and organizing well-structured events, the league ensures that every game is both competitive and valuable for player development. What sets the United Tier 1 Hockey League apart is its ability to attract teams from across North America, creating a diverse and challenging environment where players face a wide range of opponents and playing styles.
The league also offers multiple championship opportunities, including events for split-season teams as well as youth and midget divisions, allowing players at different stages of development to compete for meaningful titles. In addition, the organization prides itself on being an organization-friendly operation, working closely with teams, coaches, and hockey programs to create a smooth, professional, and supportive experience that prioritizes both player growth and team success. Together, these elements make the United Tier 1 Hockey League a unique and valuable platform within the youth hockey landscape.

The Hornets regularly participate in local games and travel to Alberta for showcase events, giving players exposure to competitive opportunities and next-level hockey. Our coaching staff boasts extensive hockey experience and impressive accomplishments, providing players with the guidance and mentorship they need to excel.
