I have a wide range of experience in hockey, as a player, and as a coach. From ages ranging from H2-U18, and skills levels ranging from C to AAA, I have coached, taught, and inspired teams to grow beyond their comfort zones to achieve our team goals.

This past season I was the Head Coach of the 2013 Coyotes program, an expansion team in the HPL. For the past ten seasons I have been a Head Coach in the NWB Hockey Development spring hockey program. I helped lead the Aldergrove U15AAA team to within a single win of provincials. I was also a Head Coach in Langley Minor Hockey for six seasons, earning multiple regular season and playoff banners.

“Individual development through team concepts” is the best way to describe my approach to developing up and coming hockey players. My teams are hard working, intelligent, and disciplined. My coaching philosophy is based on strong team play, a heavy focus on the fundamental skills and the understanding of basic and constantly evolving hockey principles. With a combination of intensity, fun, repetition and constructive feedback I believe I can help players improve their all around game, as well as focus on developing specific skill sets.
